UnitWelcome back to Self-Awareness Month!

We're thrilled you're joining Saving Our United Leaders for this journey of self-discovery. This week, we're laying the Foundation, building the essential groundwork for a deeper understanding of yourself. Get ready to explore what truly makes you, you.
Throughout this week, and the rest of the month, our blog posts and media posts will be more than just text. We've included clickable tabs with quick links to useful resources like book references, journal prompts, and external articles/videos to help you dive deeper into each day's topic. Remember to engage with the daily prompts and exercises, and share your reflections using #MINDBODYSOUL
Here is what we have in store for Week 1:
Day 1: Defining Your Journey
What does self-awareness mean to you?
Take some time for personal reflection. Write down your initial thoughts and feelings. This is the starting point of your journey this month. Share your thoughts on social media using #mindbodysoul
Day 2: Values Deep Dive
Your Exercise: Identify your top five values (e.g., honesty, kindness, achievement). Once you have your list, reflect on how these values influence your decisions, relationships, and overall life path. Are you living in alignment with them?
Day 3: Strengths Safari
List 3-5 strengths and plan to use one today.
Acknowledge your strength skills, talents, or positive traits. Choose one that you can consciously utilize today. How will you apply it in your interactions or tasks?
Day 4: Emotions as Messengers
Pause to check in with your emotions and where you feel them.
Throughout your day, set reminders to pause and check
in with your emotions. What are you feeling? Where in your body do you feel it?
Recognizing the physical manifestations of your emotions can provide deeper
insights. (Book reference-pause. Breathe. Flourish by William D.Parker)
Day 5: Belief Systems
Identify and challenge a limiting belief.
Think about an area of your life where you feel stuck.
Can you identify a limiting belief associated with that area? Ask yourself: Is this belief actually true? What evidence contradicts it? What would be a more empowering belief to adopt?
Day 6: Energy Audit
List what gives and drains your energy.
Make two lists: one of activities, people, or situations that give you energy and another of things that drain your energy. Be honest with
yourself!
Day 7: Week
Reflection
What was your biggest discovery this week?
As Week 1 comes to a close, take some time to reflect on your journey. What was your biggest takeaway from this week?
We're incredibly excited to see what you uncover this week as we build the foundation of your self-awareness.
